@Villagebet Bet-Of-The-Day, Pride of Dubai, brilliantly wins Blue Diamond Stakes, one of 7 winners for the Thoroughbred Village Racing Tips service.

Thoroughbred Village’s Race Tipping Service, known as Villagebet, is in record-breaking form in February with another 7 winners in Sydney and Melbourne on Saturday. This followed 6 winners last week and a record 8 winners on the 7th February. Earlybird followers of @Villagebet on twitter accessed the tips on Friday night and were able to get on well before a number of betting plunges reduced the odds considerably. To receive the announcements, make sure you follow @Villagebet on twitter, and check out the Racing Tips page. The bet-of-the-day was tweeted on Saturday morning, which was none other than Pride of Dubai in the Blue Diamond Stakes, getting home at the juicy odds of $6.

Winners on the weekend were as follows:

Pride of Dubai. Beast of a horse to barge his way out of that hopeless pocket and power home to a stunning victory. Amazing to think he’s still only a 2YO. Will be a superstar.

Index Linked. Goes to the Mornington Cup after winning the Prelude. The Dansili seven-year-old injured himself badly after a win over the 2000m at Flemington back in January last year and has taken his time getting back into top form. He’s a very, very tough horse.

Sabatini. Ridden by Nick Hall, Sabatini finished best to defeat Fontein Ruby by a length with Samartested a short-half-head back in third. Placed in the Group 1 Thousand Guineas last season, Sabatini will be given her chance at the highest level again in the next couple of months.

Alpine Eagle. Simply astonishing victory in the Autumn Classic. Came from a hopeless position to power home like a top quality colt and get the prize. Could head to the Australian Guineas.

Always Allison. Overcame a slow start to finish too strongly for her rivals in the Group 2 $175,000 Sweet Embrace Stakes (1200m) at Warwick Farm. Not among Golden Slipper entries but connections can secure a start if they pay the late entry fee.

Exosphere. Galloped to the line unchallenged with a 4L winning margin in the Skyline. Another challenger for the Golden Slipper.

First Seal showed she is clearly the superior three-year-old filly of her generation when she blew away her rivals in the Group 2 $175,000 Surround Stakes.
