Simply type the required letters within square brackets, make sure you close the string with a forward slash, and press "preview" to view the new text appearance. Only text in the body of a message will be converted, and the matching for text formatting, unlike smilies, is case-insensitive. For example, to type the word thoroughbred in red print like this thoroughbred, you should type it the following way: [red]thoroughbred[/red]. Spaces are allowed too, so you can type a whole sentence in red if you like! Remember to include the forward slash to close your formatting!
